Light Remodelling and Interiors, 2022
The project looked to rework the interiors of a maisonette that led on to a south facing garden. The existing house had a low level extension that housed the kitchen, with two large rooms for the living space and a separate dining room. The proposal looked to create a much more open plan living and dining area, connecting the two social spaces of the house again. The extension’s lower ceiling heights were utilised to house a TV room in a much more intimate space.
The project looked at a multitude of different options, and the ambition of the project by the end of the design phase, was to maximise the space with the least amount of demolition and structural alterations.
